You don't need to be Iron Man to build his AI assistant, Jarvis.

First, let's talk about the journey.

Even though I believed it was possible, building Jarvis wasn't easy.

It’s been a crazy journey of ups and downs (bugs). Integrating multiple AI-enabled technologies is harder said than done.

Despite all the challenges, I was able to integrate a Raspberry Pi, large language models (LLMs), Text-to-Speech algorithms, helmet hardware, and IoT capabilities to create a real-life functioning Jarvis!

How does this all work?

At its core, the Raspberry Pi acts as the brain, powering the AI conversations through large language models like GPT-4.

Then, text-to-speech technology turns Jarvis's digital replies into spoken words.

Beyond this, the helmet's hardware reacts to voice commands, and its IoT integration lets Jarvis help with things like smart home automation.

Very cool. But, why did I want to build Jarvis in the first place? 

Tony Stark isn't the only one who could use an AI assistant. Jarvis can come in handy in a lot of ways.

He can help turn your lights on and off, answer difficult questions, open the helmet, command a nurf-gun turret and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

There's so much potential for the applications of an AI assistant. Just think about all the things Jarvis can do in the movies!
