I'm going to reveal how Jarvis works.

We've been talking about what Jarvis can do, but we haven't discussed what's under the hood of Jarvis.

The Jarvis' nuts and bolts are the hardware and software components that bring his AI capabilities to life!

Today, I'll reveal to you how exactly I put Jarvis together.

The Jarvis hardware is very straightforward: two speakers to deliver clear sound, a touch sensor for easy interaction, and a reliable microphone to pick up your voice, all tied together by a versatile Raspberry Pi 4 or 5.

Are you thinking that it looks expensive and complex?

Well, I'm here to tell you that it isn't. You don't need an expensive, flashy helmet -  a cardboard or 3d printed one will do just fine. It's all about combining simple components to harness the power of AI.

Okay. But how do we breathe life into the hardware?

With the help of software, of course! Jarvis comes to life with software designed for interaction. 

Jarvis uses speech recognition, audio processing, and GPIO control to listen, understand, and respond to your commands in real-time.

Now that we've gone over Jarvis' nuts and bolts, let's put it all together.

When you speak to Jarvis, the microphone relays your voice to OpenAI's Whisper for speech recognition.

The Raspberry Pi takes this transcribed text, taps into a large language model (like GPT-3 or 4) to grasp your request, and uses GPIO control to make it happen. This could be playing music, switching on lights, or sending a message. 

If you want you could even swap out Jarvis's intelligence for a local LLM which could be an Open Source LLM like tiny Llama or even LLaMa 3, which can run on a local server. 

I prefer using Groq which is super fast... not be confused with Elons Grok. 

Anyways, LLMs aside...once it's all configured, you’ll hear a prompt response through the speakers, completing the loop of interactive AI communication.
